farewell summer

So this post is somewhat past due, but we took the boat out for a farewell spin yesterday and it made me realize how much I'm going to miss the summertime!! While I SO look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas and Snow and fires in the fireplace, I will miss the lazy, long summer days!

I have the sweetest, most adorable niece in the world! She calls me "may may"... i adore that! (and her!) She has been such great practice for me and has given me so much inspiration over the past year! Who wouldn't want to photograph this beautiful, sweet, innocent face!!

apparently, this daisy smelled horrible!!

I love you sweet girl! You inspire me in so many ways and you don't even know it.
